Academic Experience

While studying at the Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication, I developed strong foundational reporting and multimedia production skills through hands-on coursework. I conducted on-air interviews, profile pieces, and video observation stories, gaining experience in both live and recorded journalism formats.

I learned how to research, pitch, script, and produce stories, as well as how to adapt interview techniques for different subjects and audiences. My technical training included operating professional camera equipment such as the Sony A6000, capturing clean audio and b-roll, and editing video packages using industry-standard software.

Through this work, I strengthened my abilities in story structure, ethical reporting, visual storytelling, and deadline-driven production, building a solid foundation for broadcast, digital, and short-form video journalism.
